Another program of Pro Action Yates County is the
Christmas for the Needy Program, which
operates on generous donations and the work of many volunteers. The
program assists an average of 400 families each year by providing them with
clothing, food, gifts, and gift certificates. Many disabled and elderly
people who are unable to travel are delivered baskets of food and hand made lap
quilts.
