These services are provided to help individuals retain their employment, and to become more employable by removing barriers to adequate transportation.

Funding provided through the New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance in conjunction with the Steuben County Department of Social Services.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

ü Be a current resident of either Chemung, Steuben or Yates Counties

ü Be working a minimum of 20 hours per week or have documented promise of employment for 20 or more hours a week

ü Meet income eligibility guidelines

ü Have children under the age of 18 living in the home or proof of non-custodial parenthood

ü Have a valid NYS Driver’s License free of Felony Moving Violations

ü You are unable to access conventional credit at a reasonable rate of interest
