Pro Action's Senior Wellness Program provides a variety of services that support the health and well being of Steuben County's Senior Citizen population.  For more information on any of the services provided by the Senior Wellness Program, contact Pro Action at (607) 776-2125 or 800-553-2033.

• In-Home Safety: This health promotion, falls prevention program assists older adults in living independently through education, safety modifications, and medication management.

• Ramps Plus Program: Available to Steuben County residents who are temporarily or permanently wheelchair bound and are at the 200% poverty level.  Ramps Plus is a volunteer project that includes church, civic/fraternal organizations and individuals who volunteer their time and resources to construct wheelchair ramps for residents.

• Bone Builders Program:  Bone Builders is a strength training exercise and education program designed to improve bone health by reducing the risk of developing osteoporosis in both women and men.  Trained instructors lead participants in a variety of strength training exercises.  Currently, there are several Bone Builders groups meeting in various locations throughout Steuben County.
