Child Care Subsidy
Parents in Steuben County may take advantage of a subsidy program to help with the cost of child care.  The program operates on a sliding fee scale with parents sharing in the cost.  You may reach SCCP's Subsidy Department at (607) 776-2126 ext. 214.

Parents will be assigned a weekly fee based on the New York State sliding fee scale.  Care may be used in a registered home, a licensed center or an informal setting. Our counselor can give information about child care options, how to evaluate care, referrals to programs that may meet individual needs, other parent education materials and other financial options.
