Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, Inc. is seeking qualified individuals looking for employment in the Human Services field.
As of 7/2/10, the current positions are:

Head Start/UPK for the 2010/2011 School Year

Head Start UPK Certified Teacher/Addison: Flexible, dependable individual with a positive attitude to work with local school districts in meeting Head Start Performance Standards and New York State Learning Standards.  Full-time, 37.5 hrs/wk, full benefits. Proof of New York State Certification Birth to Grade 2 required, experience preferred.

UPK Certified Teacher/Wayland: Flexible, dependable individual with a positive attitude to work with local school districts in meeting Head Start Performance Standards and New York State Learning Standards.  Part-day/a.m. position.  Proof of New York State Certification Birth to Grade 2 required, experience preferred.

Teacher Assistant/UPK/Wayland:  Work in a team environment to develop and implement classroom activities and curriculum; adhere to Head Start Performance Standards/NYS Day Care Regulations. Part -day/a.m. position. Associate’s degree and/or CDA required.  Coursework and/or experience in Early Childhood Development desirable.

Teacher Assistant Head Start/UPK/Troupsburg:  Work in a team environment to develop and implement classroom activities and curriculum; adhere to Head Start Performance Standards/NYS Day Care Regulations.   Full-time, 37.5 hrs/wk, full benefits.  Associate’s degree in ECE or A.A. with 9 ECE credit hours.

Anticipated Openings For 2010/2011 School Year Throughout Steuben & Yates Counties:

Pre-K Certified Teachers:  NYS Certification Birth – Grade 2 required.

Teacher Assistants: Associates degree in ECE or A.A. with 9 ECE credit hours, or current CDA.

Classroom Support Staff : Experience working with preschool children and food service preferred.  High School Diploma required.

Substitutes For All Positions:  Experience working with preschool children.

All positions require reliable transportation.
