C.H.A.M.P. Volunteer Champions of Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, Inc.
C.H.A.M.P. Mission Statement: C.H.A.M.P. is dedicated to assisting Pro Action of Steuben and Yates, Inc. in their efforts to meet the needs of the low income and the disadvantaged population by providing volunteers that will bring to this agency resources from the community to meet those needs.
Overview of C.H.A.M.P.: C.H.A.M.P. is a volunteer program of Pro Action. Organized in 2005, C.H.A.M.P. is dedicated to assisting and bringing hope and comfort to people experiencing unfortunate circumstances.
Goals of C.H.A.M.P.:
To enhance programs of Pro action by providing additional assistance in areas not covered by current funding sources.
To be seen as a resource to other organizations working to improve the quality of life of the disadvantaged population.
To develop programs that encourage youth to see the needs in the community and guide them in their efforts to meet those needs.
To promote awareness of the services offered by Pro Action
To maintain fiscal responsibility for these goals by securing unrestricted funds through donations and fundraisers.
